Fun with AI Transcription and Text Analysis Tools

Conducting an interview or oral history project? In this introductory workshop we will review how to generate an audio transcription from an MP3 using MACWhisper and then use Taguette to begin coding your transcript for textual and thematic analysis.

MACWhisper and Taguette both offer free access and can run locally on your own computer, making this pairing a preferred suite of tools when working with sensitive or protected content.

Please bring your own laptop. Registration is appreciated but not required.
